3 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.22 After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized. http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John+3&version=KJVMY COMMENTS: Perhaps, after reading some of the articles here, there is someone who has come to this blog, who wants to know what being born again means, and they would like to invite Jesus into their heart and life as well. I think this should help those looking for answers. Being born again, means to be born from above, to accept willing the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus, and make Jesus your Lord and Savior. He paid in full for our sins, by dying on the cross, and then on the third day arose, never to die again. He ascended to God the Father after 40 days, and is seated on the right hand of the Father.
Jesus died for all sinners on the cross, and only through Jesus, we find Salvation and forgiveness for our sins from God the Father. It's a free gift given to all sinners whom willing will accept the Lord's sacrifice, ask the Lord for forgiveness and repent of their sinful ways. They become a new creation in Christ, and the old self has past.
After all is said and done, no one is promised tomorrow ; tomorrow may not come for some. Therefore, today is the day to make the most important decision of your life,
tomorrow may be too late. Therefore, if by chance you died this very night, you would be separate from your body, and present with the Lord in Heaven.
Romans: Chapter 10 verse 9-10-13
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be Saved. For with the heart man
believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession
is made unto Salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the
name of the Lord shall be Saved.
Want to be "Born Again", pray with a sincere and contrite heart the following prayer, and your name will be written in the book of life.

Heavenly Father: I come to you in prayer asking for the forgiveness of my Sins.
I confess with my mouth and believe with my
heart that Jesus is your Son, And that he died on the
Cross at Calvary, that I might be forgiven and have
Eternal Life in the Kingdom of Heaven. Father, I believe that Jesus rose from the dead and I ask Lord Jesus, right now to come into my life and be my personal Lord and Savior. I'm sorry I have sinned against you Father, I repent of my Sins and will worship you from this day forth, all the day's of my Life!. Because your word is truth, I confess with my mouth that I am Born Again and Cleansed by the precious Blood of Jesus! In Jesus Name, Amen.
If you prayed the Sinners Prayer and truly believe the words you said, then
Praise the Lord, you are "born again from above". You are saved and your name will appear in the "Lambs Book of Life!"
For God so loved the world, that He sent His only begotten Son Jesus, without sin, to die on the cross for all Sinners. Then Jesus rose on the third day, from the dead. After 40 days He Ascended to Heaven, unto God the Father, and is seated at His right hand. Jesus is alive, never to die again, and through His selfless sacrifice, we are reconciled unto God the Father, and received into God's Kingdom.
It's a free gift from God the Father, through His obedient Son Jesus, whom came to Earth as a babe in a Manger, and taught the people of His time how we should live, about God the Father, performed miracles, raised the dead, healed the sick, drove out the demons from those possessed.
