What is the Baptism in the Holy Spirit?
The baptism in Holy Spirit is God's gift of spiritual power. The gift of salvation brings eternal life. The gift of the Holy Spirit grants us the ability to reach the lost with the Gospel message.
Few Christians understand the importance of the Holy Spirit's work in the Body of Christ. Jesus repeatedly stated that the Holy Spirit would have a major role in a believer's life. The Bible says that God's Spirit will lead us to a deeper understanding of truth, and He will empower us to witness.
"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you" (John 14:26).
"Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you" (John 16:7).
"For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence...But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth" (Acts 1:5 and 8).
Several passages in the Word of God tell us that the gift of the Holy Ghost is something we should earnestly seek.
"But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: "And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams. And on my menservants and on my maidservants I will pour out my Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy" (Acts 2:16-18).
"...Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call" (Acts 2:38-39).
"Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him" (Acts 5:28-32).
"And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone?...Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?" (Luke 11:9-13).

1 Thessalonians 4:15-18
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

No One Knows the Day or Hour
36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 40 Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. 42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. 43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
The Faithful Servant and the Evil Servant
45 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. 47 Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods. 48 But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ 49 and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, 50 the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, 51 and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

It is instructive as well that God appeared to the children of Israel on Mount Sinai not only in the third month after their departure from Egypt (Exod 19:1) but on a third day after two days of spiritual preparation (Exod 19:10-11, 16-20). As could be expected, after the Lord’s self-revelation and instructions to the assembled multitude, more was to follow. Such came in God’s issuing of the Ten Commandments (Exod 20:1-17; cf. Deut 5:6-21).46 In all of the above texts the third day motif points to actions and matters that take on a spiritual dimension. Something distinctive, even unique, was to occur on the third day and that in turn pointed to important things to follow.
Purity Or Healing
“The third day has a ceremonial significance as well … The meat left from sacrifices was to be destroyed on the third day (Lev 7:17-18; 19:6-7).”47 Thus nothing spoiled or impure was to mar the spiritual nature of the sacrifice and the third day itself was to be kept holy and pure. In keeping with this were the later regulations concerning purifications by water on the third day as well as the seven days after contamination by touching a dead body (Num 19:11-12, 19; 31:19). Hezekiah asked for a sign that the Lord would heal him so that he could “go up to the temple of the LORD on the third day” (2 Kgs 20:8). The idea of healing thus is attached to the motif of the third day here. Once again not only is the purity of the day emphasized, but the day is one of healing and spiritual activity. It is not surprising, then, that when the prophet Hosea urges the sinning people of the Northern Kingdom to return to the Lord so as to experience His forgiveness, and their healing and restoration, that he employs the motif of the third day: Come, let us return to the LORD.
He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us;
He has injured us but he will bind up our wounds.
After two days he will revive us;
On the third day he will restore us,
that we may live in his presence (Hos 6:1-2).
In light of Old Testament precedents Hosea’s employment of the third day motif would likely fall upon ears that were familiar with its significance. The Lord’s healing and restoration was not only certain, but it would be a very special time of victory for God’s people.
The Day Of Resurrection
Although it is difficult to think of Hosea’s prophecy concerning Israel’s future healing and restoration as a prediction of Christ’s resurrection, it is interesting that mankind’s spiritual healing is associated with the motif of the third day. Indeed, after Peter’s great confession of Christ, Jesus taught that He “must be killed and on the third day be raised to life” (Matt 16:21; cf. Mark 8:31; Luke 9:22). Shortly after Jesus’ transfiguration He again taught His disciples, “The son of man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men. They will kill him, and on the third day he will be raised to life” (Matt 17:22-23).
Jesus repeatedly stressed the message of His coming death and resurrection on the third day, calling it His “goal” (Luke 13:32). Such began as early as His first miracle at Cana of Galilee where He said to the Jews, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days” (John 2:19). John reports that Jesus’ saying referred to His body and that “after he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said” (v. 22).48 On His final journey to Jerusalem He repeated His earlier prophecy concerning His death and resurrection saying, “The son of man will be betrayed to the chief priests and teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death and will hand him over to the Gentiles, who will mock him and spit on him, flog him and kill him. Three days later he will rise” (Mark 10:33-34). Jesus’ teaching was apparently well known, for Matthew reports that as He lay in the tomb the chief priests and the Pharisees went to Pilate and said, “Sir, … we remember that while he was still alive that deceiver said, ‘After three days I will rise again’” (Matt 27:63).
That Jesus died and rose again bodily on the third day is abundantly attested in the Scriptures, which contain several lines of evidence, including the empty tomb in which lay Christ’s undisturbed grave clothes (Mark 16:6; John 20:6-7), the displacement of the massive tombstone (Matt 28:2) that was guarded by trained Roman soldiers (Matt 27:62-66), the transformation of the disciples perspective from one of utter despair and disbelief to absolute certitude—a conviction for which they would and many did die (e.g., cf. Luke 24:11 with Acts 2:32), and ten post-resurrection appearances of Jesus, in five instances on the third day alone (e.g., Matt 28:1-10; Mark 16:6, 9-13; Luke 24:1-35; cf. 1 Cor 15:5; John 20:10-23).49
Of interest to the subject of this study is the fact that some of these texts also include a testimony to Christ’s teaching concerning the significance of the third day. Thus the angels instructed the women who came to Jesus’ tomb on the third day, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the third day be raised again’” (Luke 24:5-7). Moreover, the two who were traveling to Emmaus that day remarked to the risen Jesus (whom they were kept from recognizing) concerning their hope in Christ, “But we had hoped that he was the one who was going to redeem Israel. And what is more, it is the third day since all this took place” (Luke 24:21). Still later Jesus reminded his assembled disciples, “This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem” (Luke 24:45s46).50
Even after Jesus’ ascension the teaching concerning Christ’s resurrection on the third day was still fresh in the apostles’ minds as they bore witness to the truth. Thus Peter testified to this at Cornelius’ house, “God raised him from the dead on the third day and caused him to be seen. He was not seen by all the people, but by witnesses whom God had already chosen—by us who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead” (Acts 10:40-41). Paul boldly proclaimed to the Corinthian Christians:
For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the twelve (1 Cor 15:3-5).
The motif of the third day therefore reaches its climax in the fact of the resurrection on the third day. It is then that the emphasis of the third day as one of spiritual activity and completeness finds its culmination in Christ’s finished redemptive work. And yet, the motif suggests that there is still more to be seen.51

Is the number 3 a clue to the time or day of the Rapture? Part 3
"Fair Use for Information & Discussion Purposes"
THREE: In sacred Scripture the number 3 represents that which is solid, real, substantial, and something in its completeness. This number usually indicates something of importance or significance in God's plan of salvation by identifying an important event in Salvation History. This number operates as a "sign-post" in Scripture study for the reader to "pay attention" to the significance of the next event.
In the Old Testament:
It is the first of the 4 perfect numbers which are 3 (divine perfection); 7 (spiritual perfection); 10 (ordinal perfection); and 12 (governmental perfection).
The earth was separated from the waters on the 3rd day [Genesis 1:9-13]
There were three Patriarchs of the children of Israel: Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob/Israel
There are three verses in the Priestly Blessing in which the Tetragrammaton, YHWH, God's holy covenant name, appears 3 times [Numbers 6:24-26].
Three times the angelic Seraphim cry "Holy, Holy, Holy" (Isaiah 6:3 and Revelation 4:8).
After the Great Flood mankind descended from the three sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. [Genesis 10:1-32]
Three "men" announced to Abraham that his barren wife would bear a son [Genesis 18:14].
Abraham was commanded to sacrifice his son after a 3-day journey to Mt. Moriah [Genesis 22:1-4].
Baby Moses was hidden by his mother for 3 months [Exodus 2:1] and the adult Moses requests of Pharaoh that he let Moses take his people on a 3 day journey into the wilderness to offer sacrifice to their God [Exodus 3:18].
There were 3 divisions of the desert Tabernacle and later the Temple in Jerusalem: the Outer Court, the Holy Place, and the Holy of Holies [Exodus 27:9; 26:1-30, 35-37; 31-34; 38:9-20; 21-31; 40:1-33; 1 Kings 6: 1-37].
God is mentioned three times in the Shema (the first profession of faith in Deuteronomy 6:4) and three times in the blessing in Numbers 23:24.
There are 3 attributes of God mentioned in Exodus 33:18-19: hen, rachum, and hesed (gracious, compassionate /merciful, and loving kindness).
Of the 7 Holy Feasts of the Sinai Covenant, 3 are Pilgrim feasts in which every man 13 years or older must present himself before God at the Temple in Jerusalem. This command is repeated three time in scripture.[Exodus 23:14-17; 34:18-23; Deuteronomy 16:16]
Jonah spent 3 days in the belly of the great fish [Jonah 1:17]; Jonah took a 3 day journey across the city of Nineveh [Jonah 3:3]
In the New Testament:
Jesus' ministry lasted 3 years.
Mary stayed with Elizabeth about 3 months [Luke 1:56]
Jesus was missing for 3 days when He was 12 years old [Luke 2:46]
Jesus took Peter, James, and John up on the Mt. of Transfiguration [Matthew 17]
Jesus arose from the dead on the third day.[Matthew 16:21, Acts 10:40]
Saul was blinded for 3 days [Acts 9:9]
The theological virtues are faith, hope, and charity [1 Corinthians 13:13]
The heavenly Jerusalem has 3 gates on each of its four sides [Revelation 21:13]
Christians saw three as symbolic of the Trinity, the triune nature of God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Three is also recognized as the number of the Holy Spirit.

Is the number 3 a clue to the time or day of the Rapture? Part 2
Spiritual Significance of the Number 3
The Number 3
Another of the numbers where we can readily see God use it in a spiritual sense to signify something, is the number three. It is used of God to signify His Purpose or His Will! For example, when God sent the three messengers to Abraham to tell him that Sarah would conceive in her old age (Genesis 18), by the use of the number three we see in this an illustration that they came with God's "purpose and will" to Abraham. i.e., it was by the will of God and for His own purposes that Sarah should conceive so that God would make a great nation of Abraham through it.
The same illustration is seen as God brought a thick darkness upon the land of Egypt (exodus 10:22-23) for three days. In this, God's purpose and sovereign will of judgment is worked out. The number three illustrated that it was for God's purposes that they were in darkness while all the Children of Israel had light!
We can see this in the three times in a year God commanded that the men of Israel were to appear before the Lord in Jerusalem (Ex. 23:14,17 Deu. 16:16). This illustrated the will and purpose of God in the feasts Laws, which all pointed to Christ!
In 2nd Samuel 21:1 the Lord sends famine in the land for three years, and says it was because of Saul and his bloody house. In other words, it was God's will that this happen, and the purpose of God in doing this was to bring judgment because of Saul's bloody House.
Another example is in 1st kings 17:21 as Elijah stretches forth his body over a dead child three times, and the child lives again. This signified that it was God's will and for His own purpose that the child should yet live again, a type or spiritual "shadow" of things to come.
Again, as the Lord said His servant Isaiah walked naked and barefoot three years as a Sign (signification) and a wonder upon Egypt (Isaiah 20:3), once more indicating God's will and purpose for Egypt.
Even when we look at the three men who were cast into the furnace of fire, and a fourth who was there like the Son of God (Daniel 3:24-25), we see that it was God's will and purpose that these three men would not be harmed by the fire because of the presence of the Son of God. This was demonstrating that by the presence of Christ, the will and purpose of God that His people not be harmed in the fire, will be accomplished.
These are just a few of the examples, and we could go on and on about this. These places where the number three is found is numerical symbology which is putting forth spiritual truths, that we can learn from as we consider them. For in three, God works out His purpose and His will. As Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights, so it indicated it was for God's purpose, and that His will would be worked out in this (Again, a type of Christ).
If I could use an earthly analogy of a Biblical principle, It's somewhat like asking someone three times whether they really want to sell their house for a certain fee. After they say yes the third time, it's established that this is their will and purpose or intention. That, of course, is a bad analogy, but one which makes the point. That is the way the number three is often used in scripture. It signifies the establishment of God's will and His purpose. The three days and three nights Jonah spent in the fish established that God's purpose and will would be worked out in that. In Acts, the Lord smote the Apostle Paul with blindness for three days:
Acts 9:9
"And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink."
Was the fact that he was blind "three" days just a number picked out of a hat, as if any number would do? No, the number was God breathed. He was Blinded three days not by coincidence, but "by divine fiat or decree". It was God's purpose for him to be blind and to neither eat nor drink for those "three" days because He was bringing Paul to the light! Why not four days? Why not two days? Because those are numbers God uses to signify other things, and He wanted to indicate by the number "three" that it was for His own good purpose and by His sovereign Will that Paul be blind. And that is what the number three signifies.
The exact same principle in Acts Chapter 10, when a voice from heaven told Peter to rise kill and eat the beasts of the earth that were on a sheet descending from heaven. And Peter says No, for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean. Then the voice says, "what God has cleansed, don't call it common". And we read,
Acts 10:16
"This was done thrice (3 times): and the vessel was received up again into heaven."
Why was this done "three" times, and then the sheet received up again into heaven? When we study scripture in context, we find that these passages were to indicate that the gospel was going out to the Gentiles as well as the Jews. And that is why it is meticulously pointed out by God that this was done three times and "then" received up again unto heaven. It is to signify this is the purpose and will of God that Salvation go to all the world. It's not just any number, it's the number that signifies God's purpose and will that Salvation go to the Gentiles as well as the Jews. The "three" times it's done, gives us this spiritual signification that it is established by God for His purpose.
Christ spoke a parable which was about a fig tree in a vineyard in Luke 13:6 (Symbolizing Israel) and the man of the vineyard came "three" years seeking fruit and found none, and so said cut it down, why cumbereth it the ground. Why didn't God in this parable say cut it down after one year, or after two years? It was because the "three" years he came seeking fruit is symbolizing the purpose of God. He gave it "three" chances before he said cut it down. (Remember the analogy I made of three times asked makes it established?) The establishment of God's purpose and will is seen in this number three.
One of the greatest places to see this numerical symbology is in that there is only one God, and yet there are three in the Godhead. The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
1st John 5:7
"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one".
The purpose or will of God the one God, is worked out in these three. Read the Bible with wisdom and understanding. Because these things were put there for just that purpose. The purpose and will of God is worked out in the three of the Godhead.
When Paul sought God to remove the thorn in the flesh, but it was for God's own purpose that Paul retain this thorn (it wasn't God's will to remove it) He illustrates this by the number three. Consider what we read in,
2nd Corinthians 12:8:
"For this thing I besought the Lord thrice (three times) that it might depart from me. And he said unto me, My Grace is sufficient for thee.."
Here we see it again "three" times Paul besought the Lord! Why not once, or twice? Why didn't God tell him after the first time or the second? Why did God wait for the third time? It's because God deliberately wants to indicate in scripture by this number 3, that it is not His purpose, or His Will that this thorn be removed. He says to Paul after being asked the third time, "My Grace is sufficient for you." In other words, My Grace is enough for you. i.e., After the third time asking, it was established as God's will that this was not to be removed. Grace was enough for Paul. So again we see clearly that the number three here was an indication to us that it was not God's will that this be removed.
There are just so many indications of the number three being used to symbolize the will and Purpose of God. None more "God Glorifying" than the atonement that the Lord made at the cross. The Atonement has the number "three" all around it and we can readily understand why. That's because though Christ was Crucified, it was God's will and for His purpose that Christ went to the Cross. For example, Jesus sat with the elders in the Temple three days being about His father's work, there were three Crosses, there were three men crucified, there was writing in three different languages on the cross, Jesus prayed three times that if it was possible could this cup pass from me, three Apostles went into the garden to pray with Him, Peter denied Our lord three times, Pilate sought three times to let Jesus go, it was the "third" hour when they crucified Him, Jesus was in the heart of the earth "three" days and "three" nights, When Jesus was risen He asked Simon three times loveth thou Me, and on, and on. The number three is everywhere indicated in the atonement that Christ made for us because it was God's will and purpose. Are these all just coincidental references? The scoffers will tell you that, but the Spirit tells another story. Christ had to go to the cross in order for us to be Saved. It is a Gift of God. It was His will. The number three being used this way is a coincidence like the sheep being used as an indication of a believer is a coincidence. No Possible Way! They were both put there by God to give us a great Spiritual, or symbolical picture that we can learn from.
Unfortunately, there are many in our day who choose to remain spiritually ignorant in these things.
It's not curious then that the number three is sometimes used in conjunction with the number two (which signifies the agreement of truth) when making statements about God's purpose. Because His will and purpose go hand in hand with the truth. For example, in relationship to the Church. For the Church is the pillar of truth, and it is also doing God's Will, and working to accomplish His purposes. Jesus says in:
Matthew 18:19-20
"Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of My Father which is in heaven.
For where two or three are gathered in My name, there Am I in the midst of them."
There we have the establishment of the truth (2), and the Purpose of God (3) in the definition of the Church. Where two or three are gathered in Christ's name, there is the truth and the will of God being done, and Christ in their midst. That's the two or three witnesses of God. That's the Church with Christ in the midst (remember the two witnesses of revelation chapter 11?) There is the "definition" of the Church! Two or three witnesses gathered together in the name of Christ! The two is illustrating established truth, and the three illustrating the purpose and will of God.

The Importance of the Number 3 in Scripture
"Fair Use for Information & Discussion Purposes"
The Triune Temple
The Trinity is imbedded in the temple. In the Holy of Holies there was a cube each. The temple had cube of twenty cubes. Each of these twenty “had three parts to it.” these parts are: The Court, the Holy Place and the Sanctuary. there were “three chambers” around the temple. The Brazen Sea had “three” thousand baths with a line of “thirty” cubits with “three” hundred knops. [1 Kings 7:24]. Its foundation were twelve oxen (3x4); “three” looking north, “three” looking west, “three” looking south, and “three” looking east.
Not only in the word of God stamp with the Trinity, but the whole of creation have the Mark of The Trinity. When I first enter the field electronic one of things I thought was amazing was the fact that only “three” dots striking the screen was responsible for the beautiful color picture on the screen. And on top of that it take only “three” basic colors [red, blue and green] to produced all the different hues. Yes we have a whole universe designed around the important number “three” the number of perfection, the number of God! The number of the resurrection! The number of the Godhead!
The number “three” rule the vegetation kingdom. There three types of vegetation: grass, herbs and trees [Gen 1:11].
There “three” kind of light of lights in the sky: the sun, the moon and the stars [Gen I:16].
There are "three" kind of animals: fish, foul and land animals.
There are "three" states of matter [solid, liquid and gas].
Our world is the "third" planet form the sun.
These is only some of thing in the universe and the bible, God use to direct the searching soul to the truth. If the Trinity was of pagan origin would God mark His whole creation with the mark of the beast? You know the answer. How could He be any more clearer? Those with a love of the truth can’t miss it. Those who continue to defend a tradition will miss it. The only way we can find the truth is to come to the word of God looking for the truth, and not “my” but “God’s” truth.
Everything is simple and straight forward and easy to understand. You don't need to know Greek or take a class in Hebrew to understand it. “Three” is “three” in every language. There are many more example I can bring out from the bible and the physical creation but if this is not enough I don’t know what it will take open blind eyes.
GOD MADE IT SIMPLE TO UNDERSTAND THAT HE IS “THREE” AND THE “THREE” IS ONE! MAN COMPLECATE WHAT GOD INTENED TO BE SIMPLE!

Bible Prophecy 101 - Handy Prophecy Reference Guide
A member of our Fellowship emailed me last week and asked me to look over a study on prophecy he was putting together for a men's Bible study. When I looked it over, not only could I think of nothing additional to offer, I asked Ron if he would allow me to share it with a wider audience. I encourage you to download or print Ron Maurno's "Bible Prophecy 101" and keep it handy as a Bible prophecy quick reference resource. ~Jack Kinsella
#1: Signifies completion, “Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one God” (Deut. 6:4)
#2: “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor, for if they fall, one will lift up his fellow.” (Eccl. 4:9-10)
#3: The simplest compound unit of mathematical science. God is one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It is the number of the Godhead.
#4: The number of the created world. There are 4 seasons, and 4 points on the compass north, south, east and west. There are 4 power blocs of the world in the latter day wars: Kings of the North, South, East, and the Western alliance.
#5 and #10: Scriptural significance. Man has 5 fingers on each hand and 5 toes on each foot. Man has 5 senses. The decimal system is based on tenths.
#6: The number of man; it falls short of perfection (7). Man was created on the sixth day, the divinely appointed work week is 6 days, with the 7th set aside for God. Goliath had 6 fingers and 6 toes. His spear weighed 600 shekels of iron. His height is recorded as 6 cubits and a span. Jesus was crucified on the 6th hour of the 6th day of the week. The numbers 666 represent the antichrist, the spiritually incomplete man multiplied 100 times over.
#7: Sacred number of spiritual perfection, e.g., 4 is representative of the world and 3 of the Trinity, together equals 7. Seven days make up one of the four quarters of the moon. There are but 7 notes in music. On the seventh day, God rested. The Book of Revelation is addressed to the 7 churches of Asia Minor. There are 7 stars representing the 7 angels, who represent the 7 churches. In Rev. 3:1, Jesus is identified as having the 7 spirits of God (the whole/complete Spirit of God). In Rev. 5:6, the Lamb is pictured as having 7 eyes (representing omniscience), and 7 horns (representing power), symbolizing the Lamb as all-powerful omnipotence. There are 7 seals, 7 thunders, 7 vials and 7 trumpets. (Rev. 16:6-8).
(Excerpts from Omega Letter June 27, 2008)
Prophet: A man, chosen by God, inspired to speak God’s message to reveal the future to man.
Eschatology: Derived from 2 Greek words meaning last and study. It is the study of end time events.
Amillennialism: Teaching that states that there is no millennium reign (1000 years) of Christ on earth.
Premillennialism: Teaching that Christ will literally and physically be on earth for a thousand year reign
Postmillennialism: Teaches Reconstructionism, a belief that God’s kingdom began at the first coming of Jesus, and will advance throughout history until it fills the whole earth through conversion to the Christian faith and world view. DISPENSATIONALISM: A system of theology that recognizes three basic tenets:
(1 Cor. 9:17; Eph. 1:10, 3:2; Col. 1:25)
1. There is a theological difference between Israel and the Church
2. Scripture is to be interpreted by the literal method unless the text itself mentions a figurative or symbolic interpretation.
3. The underlying purpose of God in this world is His glory.
There are 7 dispensations, representing God’s interaction with man at different periods of time:
1. Innocence: Creation to the fall. (Gen. 1:27-28)
2. Conscience: Fall to the flood. (Gen. 3:1-6)
3. Human Government: Exit from the Ark to Abraham (Jews). (Gen. 9:6)
.
4. Promise: Abraham to the Law. (Gen. 12:1)
5. Law: Ten Commandments to Calvary (Ex. 5:6, 19:3; Acts 1)
6. Grace: Pentecost to the Rapture (Acts 2, Rev. 19:21)
7. Millennium Kingdom: Imprisonment of Satan to the Great White Throne Judgment (Rev. 20:1, 22:7).
There are two types of covenants, conditional and unconditional. The following are the four unconditional covenants that God made with Israel. The first three covenants are under attack today.
1. ABRAHAMIC COVENANT: Unconditional or Patriarchal. This is the foundation of all future covenants. (Gen. 12:1-3, 13:14-18, 15:1-21, 17:1-22)
-To make Abraham a great nation, multiply his seed, and make him the father of many nations.
- To bless Abraham and make him great.
- To make Abraham a blessing to all the families of the earth.
- To bless those who bless him and curse those who curse him.
- To give Abraham and his seed all the land he could see, with specified definite boundaries.
- To give a sign of covenant (circumcision)
NOTE: This covenant is under attack from anti-Semitism. 2. LAND (PALESTINIAN) COVENANT: Unconditional, promising the seed of Abraham eternal possession of the land (Deut. 30:1-10)
- Israel will be dispersed among the nations.
- Israel will repent and return to the land
- Israel will be re-gathered from the dispersion to the land that their fathers possessed.
-To prosper them above their fathers.
-To restore them spiritually to love the Lord
- To put all their curses upon their enemies
NOTE: This covenant is under attack today in the Middle East.
3. DAVIDIC COVENANT: Unconditional, God reaffirms the Abrahamic covenant with David and adding that the blessings (Messiah) would be attached to his lineage (2 Sam. 7:1-16, 23:1-5; Ps. 89:34-37)
- To make David’s name great
- To provide a permanent, undisturbed home for Israel
- To establish an eternal kingdom for David and his lineage.
NOTE: Luke 1: 30-34 gives the promise to Mary that “The Lord will give Him the throne of His father David forever.” In Psalm 132:11, God made a promise to David that, “Of the fruit of your body I will set upon your throne”. “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done, ON EARTH as it is in Heaven” (Matt. 6: 9-13).This covenant will be fulfilled by the Millennial reign of Christ on earth. It is under attack by Amillennial and Postmillennial Christian teaching. (Emphasis mine).
4. NEW (EVERLASTING) COVENANT: Unconditional, it replaced the conditional MOSAIC Covenant which promised that God would make Israel His special possession and make them a holy people. The people failed to obey God and the New Covenant provided spiritual restoration. In the New Covenant God promised:
-To put the law in their hearts and minds.
- To be their God and make them His people
-To establish an eternal Kingdom with God and His people
NOTE: This is the covenant from which the name, New Testament, is derived.
26And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. (Dan. 9:24-27) The 1st section (7 weeks or 49 years) is the time from the edict of Xerxes of Persia (444 BC) to the rebuilding of Jerusalem.
The 2nd section (62 weeks or 434 years) is from the rebuilding of Jerusalem to the death of Christ.
The 3rd section (1 week or 7 years) is suspended from the death (cut off) of the Messiah until the antichrist confirms a 7 year peace treaty in the Middle East. The treaty marks the start of the tribulation period.
* (THE TABLE IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS TEXT) *
Rapture: Also called the Day of Christ. Rapture is an English word meaning snatched up or caught up. It is the catching away of the true believers of Jesus Christ. The Rapture is the literal, visible and bodily return of Jesus Christ in the heavenlies. (1Thess. 4:13-18, 5: 9)
Tribulation/ Day of the Lord/Daniel’s 70th week: A 7 year period of the current age, with Israel as the main focal point. It begins with an enforced peace treaty with Israel. It becomes the “Great Tribulation” at the mid-way point (42 months), when Satan enters a man’s body. Also called the “The Time of Jacob’s Trouble”.
Antichrist: Before Christ comes to set up His Kingdom of peace, Satan will enter a man’s body and present his counterfeit, the antichrist, as the Messiah. Other names include: Little Horn (Dan. 7:8), King of fierce countenance (Dan. 8:23), The Prince that shall come (Dan. 9:26), the man of sin, the son of perdition and the wicked one (2 Thess. 2:8), the Beast of the sea (Rev. 13:1). The antichrist enforces a seven year peace treaty that amazes the world.
Abomination of Desolation: Antichrist will take control of Jewish worship midway through the tribulation, declaring himself to be God (2Thess. 2:4). He demands worship from the Jews, in their own temple.
False Prophet: Religious leader who ascends to world popularity via his close alignment with the antichrist. He is the leader of the one world church in Rev. 13:11. He will work amazing miracles and lead people into idolatry by worshiping the image of the beast.
Second Coming/Millennium: Literal and bodily reign of Christ on earth.
(Excerpts from Jack Van Impe Prophecy Bible, KJV)
KING OF THE NORTH (GOG-MAGOG ALLIANCE): Russia, Iran and the Arab-Islamic alliance. (Ezek. 38-39)
KINGS OF THE SOUTH: Egypt, Africa and Islamic North Africa (Dan. 11:40)
KINGS OF THE EAST: China and Southeast Asia (Rev. 16:12)
REVIVED ROMAN EMPIRE/ WESTERN ALLIANCE/ BEAST ARMY OF ANTICHRIST: (Dan. 7:7). If the European Union becomes combined with the Mediterranean union, the two together will have the same exact land boundaries as the ancient Holy Roman Empire. The Benelux Treaty, signed in 1948 (the same year as the re-birth of Israel) began the unification of Europe. The Bible says that the revived Roman Empire will be led by the antichrist. (Rev. 17:12)
PROPHECY, THE BURDEN OF DAMASCUS (Is. 17:1, 14)
1: “A message concerning Damascus. Observe! Damascus is about to be undone as a city.”
14: “At evening tide, lo, terror! Before morning they are gone. Such is the fate of those who pillage us and the lot of those who plunder us.”
FACT: Damascus, the capital of Syria, is the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world, population approximately 1.6 million. Syria is the state sponsor of the terror group Hezbollah.
PROPHECY, Psalm 83 (1000 BC)
“God, do not be silent, be not quiet, be not still. See how Your enemies are astir, how Your foes rear their heads. With cunning they conspire against Your people; they plot against those You cherish. Come they say “LET US DESTROY THEM AS A NATION”, that the name of Israel be remembered no more. With one mind they plot together, they form an alliance against You, the tents of Edom (modern day Palestinians, descendants of Esau) and the Ishmaelite ( descendants of Ishmael, Yemen) of Moab (modern day Jordan), Ammon (nomadic tribesman, northwest Arabia, east of the Dead Sea) and Amalek (Son of Esau, area of Iran), Philistia (Gaza) with the inhabitants of Tyre (Lebanon). Even Assyria (Syria) has joined them to lend strength to the descendants of Lot (northern Jordan).” (Emphasis mine)
THE WAR OF GOG AND MAGOG, THREE YEARS INTO THE TRIBULATION
PROPHECY Ezek 38:1-4 (575 BC)
“The word of the Lord came to me: Son of Man set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal: Prophecy against him and say: This is what the sovereign Lord says, I am against you, oh Gog, chief prince of Mesech and Tubal. I will turn you around and put hooks in your jaw, and bring you out with your whole army—your horses, your horseman fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields and all of them brandishing their swords.”
FACT: Gog is thought by most Christian scholars to be a title of a strong leader. Magog, is the son of Japheth who was a son of Noah. Josephus, the first century Jewish historian, identified the offspring of Magog as the Scythians who were known as brutal horse-riding nomads that resided in the area of modern day southern Russia. Rosh, Meshech and Tubal. There is unanimity among dispensational scholars that these countries are also found in Russia and the former Soviet republics.
PROPHECY Ezek. 38:5-6
“Persia, Cush and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets, also Gomer with all his troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all his troops-the many nations with you.”
FACT: Persia is modern day Iran.
Cush is the area of Sudan, Ethiopia and possibly Eritrea.
Put is the area of Libya, Algeria, and Tunisia.
Gomer, the eldest son of Japheth (Noah), is modern day Turkey.
Beth Togarmah is Turkey, Armenia, and the Turkish-speaking people of Asia Minor and central Asia.
“Many nations with you’, possibly additional Islamic allies.
THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON “And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over”. (Dan. 11:40)
This is the closing battle of the second three and one-half years of the tribulation. It begins with Russia/Iran’s invasion of Israel (Gog-Magog/ King of the North), after the peace contract with Israel is broken (Ezek. 38:15-16). As the war escalates, new participants include: antichrist (Western Alliance), Kings of the South and Kings of the East.
Antichrist will move all his military might with the other Kings to do battle with Christ at His return to the Mount of Olives (Zech. 14:4, Rev. 16:14)
Christ will come. The battle of Armageddon climaxes the campaign as the Lord and His armies appear from Heaven. The enemy armies will be destroyed (Joel 3: 2, 9-14, Ps. 2: 2-3). Christ returns, riding a white horse. His eyes are as a flame of fire and His robe dipped in blood. Written on the robe is ‘King of Kings’ and ‘Lord of Lords’. He will smite the nations, and the antichrist and the False Prophet will be cast into the Lake of Fire.
It will be the bloodiest battle in history (Ps. 2:2, Zech. 14:3). The destruction resulting will be that the blood of the armies will reach to the horses’ bridles for two hundred miles and it will require mankind 7 months to bury the dead ( Rev. 14:20, Ezek. 39:12).

COVENANT:
A divinely initiated contract which God makes with man in which God obligates Himself to the parties named in the contract.
THE 70 WEEKS OF DANIEL
24Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
25Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
25Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
(Dan. 9:24-27)
The 70 weeks are divided into 3 sections:
The 2nd section (62 weeks or 434 years) is from the rebuilding of Jerusalem to the death of Christ.
The 3rd section (1 week or 7 years) is suspended from the death (cut off) of the Messiah until the antichrist confirms a 7 year peace treaty in the Middle East. The treaty marks the start of the tribulation period.
* (THE TABLE IS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS TEXT) *
Church Age/Age of Grace: The 2000 year period that begins at Pentecost and
ends at the Rapture of the church.
ends at the Rapture of the church.

FOUR BIBLICAL POWER BLOCS IN THE LATTER DAYS
(Rev. 17:12)
TWO EVENTS LEADING TO THE TRIBULATION
THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON
(Excerpts from J Dwight Pentecost: Campaign of Armageddon)

Is The number 3 a Clue to the Timing of The Rapture?
I decided to do research on the significance of the number 3 by doing a study on the number, because of it's importance to God. We serve a God of order, not chaos! I have some of it completed, and thought I would post it, as I continue to work on it until it is finished.
I gleaned some explanations of bible study of numbers which I have bookmarked in my favorites, for fair use for information & educational purposes
http://www.biblestudy.org/bibleref/meaning-of-numbers-in-bible/introduction.html
Three is such an important number in God’s written word, therefore, I was wondering whether there is a clue as to the time of day the Rapture takes place or a clue to perhaps to a 3 day warning before the day of the Rapture?
We all know the Godhead, The Father, Son, & Holy Spirit, three persons in
One God! The Holy Trinity!
Three times the Seraphim cry, "Holy, Holy, Holy"--one for each of the three persons in the Trinity (Isaiah 6:3). The living creatures also in Revelation 4:8.
Three times is the blessing given in Numbers 6:23, 24:--
• "The LORD bless thee and keep thee (the Father);
• The LORD make His face shine upon thee; and be gracious unto thee (the Son);
• The LORD lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee peace" (the Holy Spirit).
God's attributes are three: omniscience, omnipresence, and omnipotence.
There are three great divisions completing time--past, present, and future. The future is in 3rd place and Jesus is coming again in the future!
When we turn to the Scriptures, this completion becomes Divine, and marks Divine completeness or perfection.
Three is the first of four perfect numbers.
3 denotes divine perfection;
7 denotes spiritual perfection;
10 denotes ordinal perfection; and 12 denotes governmental perfection.
"Daytime," as used in the Bible, had twelve hours. In the Bible they numbered hours as per following examples...
Jesus answered, "Are there not twelve hours in the day?" John 11.9a
• 1st hour - 6 AM
• 3rd hour - 9 AM
• 6th hour - Noon
• 9th hour - 3 PM
Now it was the third hour (9 AM), and they crucified Him. Mark 15.25
Now when the sixth hour (noon) had come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour (3 PM). And at the ninth hour (3 PM) Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?" which is translated, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?" ...And Jesus cried out with a loud voice, and breathed His last. Mark 15.33-34, 37
Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. Acts 3.1 w
Jesus died at 3pm on the cross at the age of 33!
On the 3rd hour or 9 AM Jesus was crucified!
On the 9th hour or 3PM Jesus died!
Some state that Jesus died April 3rd, 33AD.
If this is true then, 4th month 3rd day 4+3=(7 means spiritual perfection)
33AD or 3+3=(6 which means man) Jesus came as flesh or man, with spiritual perfection, making Him, Divine, God in the flesh amongst us !!!
(Jesus said:) ...I lay down My life that I may take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again... John 10.17b-18a
Two possible reasons why Lord Jesus chose to die at the ninth hour (3pm)
Reason #1 – The ninth hour (3 PM) was the hour of prayer, when the Jews went into the temple at the daily evening sacrifice; and this was the usual time for slaying the Passover sacrifice.
Reason #2 – Of even greater significance – When God instituted the Passover, He commanded that the Paschal Lamb should be slain on the 14th day (Passover) “at evening” that is, during the time after the sun passed it’s zenith (3PM), and extending until sunset.
Jesus was raised on the 3rd day!!! Jesus will raise the dead on the 3rd day!
Acts 10 39-40
39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: 40Him God raised up the 3rd day, and showed him openly;
Hosea 6
King James Version
1Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
2After two days will he revive us: in the 3rd day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
The First Occurrence of the Number Three
In Genesis 1:13. "The third day" was the day on which the earth was caused to rise up out of the water, symbolical of that resurrection life which we have in Christ!
The number 3 is a number for RESURRECTION, for it was on the third day that Jesus rose again from the dead It was the third day on which Jesus was "perfected" (Luke 13:32). It was at the third hour (9a.m) He was crucified; and it was for three hours (from the 6th to the 9th) that darkness shrouded the Divine Sufferer and Redeemer.
"The Spirit, the water, and the blood," are the divinely perfect witness to the grace of God on earth (1 John 5:7).
His three-fold "it is written" shows that the Word of God is the perfection of all ministry (Matthew 4).
The Divine testimony concerning Him was complete in the threefold voice from Heaven (Matthew 3:17, 17:5; John 12:28).
He raised three persons from the dead.
The inscriptions on the Cross in three languages show the completeness of His rejection by Man.
The perfection of His offices are shown in His being Prophet, Priest, and King, raised up from among His brethren (Deuteronomy 177:15, 18:3-5, and 18:15)
.
His three appearings in Hebrews 9 show that His work will not be divinely perfect and complete until He appears again.
1. He "hath appeared" in the end of the age to "put away sin," and to "bear the sins of many" (Hebrews 9:26,28).
Now notice that the 9th hour is (3 PM) and the 3rd hour is (9 AM)!
Could 9th hours stand for our 9th month September & the 9 AM stand for a 3 PM Rapture?
The multiples of the number 3 are:

Most of us have seen these numbers…or still seeing them to this very day!
Three times is the blessing given in Numbers 6:23, 24:--
• "The LORD bless thee and keep thee (the Father);
• The LORD make His face shine upon thee; and be gracious unto thee (the Son);
• The LORD lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee peace" (the Holy Spirit).
Each of these three blessings is two-fold, so that there are two members in each, while the name Jehovah occurs three times. This marks the blessing as Divine in its source. No merit drew it forth; grace was its origin and peace was its result.
In Genesis 18:2, the same three persons appear to Abraham. Abraham "looked, and, lo, THREE men stood by him." But verse 1 declares that it was "Jehovah appeared unto him."
It is remarkable that Abraham addresses them both as one and as three. We read first that "they said," then "he said," and finally, in verses 13 and 17, 20, etc., "And the LORD said." The whole narrative, which begins with the appearance of the LORD, ends (v 33), "And the LORD went His way."
As we have in the number one the sovereignty of the one God; and in two the second person, the Son, the great Deliverer; so in "three" we have the third person, the Holy Spirit, marking and completing "the fulness of the Godhead." This word "fulness" is remarkable, occurring only three times, and in connection with the Three Persons of the Trinity:
• Ephesians 3:19, "The fulness of God. "
• Ephesians 4:13, "The fulness of Christ."
• Colossians 2:9, "The fulness of the Godhead."
The "fulness" was manifested visibly in Christ, and is communicated by the Holy Spirit, for it is a fulness of which we receive by His mighty power (John 1:16).
This is why Abraham brought "three measures of meal" for his heavenly guest.
This is why "three measures of meal" formed the great meal offering; because it set forth the perfection of Christ's perfect and Divine nature. In Leviticus no particular quantity of meal was prescribed!
In Leviticus 23 we have a list of the Feasts:--
• 1st. The Passover (v 5), on the 14th day.
• 2nd. The wave-sheaf of firstfruits on the morrow after the Sabbath (v 11), which might be burnt on the altar as a sweet savour (Leviticus 2:14-16), because unleavened.
. 3rd. Then (50 days after) the oblation of the first-fruits at Pentecost (vv 15-17). This might not be burnt on the altar (Leviticus 2:12), because it was mixed with leaven!
The number three, therefore, must be taken as the number of Divine fulness. It signifies and represents the Holy Spirit as taking of the things of Christ and making them real and solid in our experience. It is only by the Spirit that we realise spiritual things.
In the third Book in the Bible is Leviticus, the book in which we learn what true worship is. Here we see Jehovah calling His people near unto Himself, prescribing every detail of their worship, leaving nothing to their imagination or their taste, crowning all with the "MUST" of the great rubric of John 4:24. In true worship we see the FATHER seeking these true worshippers (John 4:23); the SON, the one object of all worship; and the Spirit qualifying and enduing the worshippers with the only power in which they can worship.
The third day of the week is Tuesday, the day that Jewish weddings take place! Sunday, Monday, Tuesday!!!
Perhaps this year our Divine Wedding to Jesus our Bridegroom, will take place on a Tuesday as well!
This year is most promising of all years since so many events prophecied in scripture are coming to pass!
Keep watching the redemption of our body will soon come to pass when Jesus comes for His Bride at the Rapture!
My thoughts on this post, put together with an excellent study done on Bible Studies done on numbers!!!

My Near Death Experience at Age 16 & My Testimony
My Near Death experience was shorter than most others who have written or spoke about theirs; it was extraordinary, especially to me, since I never experienced anything like this before.
I was only 16 years at the time, back in 1963; I was scheduled for a very long spinal surgery on my back. It was to straighten and fuse my spine, and I was informed that it was a very long surgery 7- 9 hours or more depending on the progress.
I had injured my back when I was a child of 9 years, running and playing with children tag on a very slippery newly waxed and polished church hall floor. I remember slipping and flying up with my whole body straight into the air and slamming down with great force and excruciating pain on my whole back. It knocked the wind out of me and I couldn't catch my breath or get up. My whole body was tingling from it, from head to toe, especially my spine. This was just the beginning for me of a long journey ahead, which would affect the rest of my life in a very profound and everlasting way.
Then through out the years, my spine started to curve, and I lived in chronic pain. I really had a difficult time in doing what most kids took for granted, as the pain would overwhelm me at times, and I would cry myself to sleep many a night. My Mother was against my having surgery, for the longest time, instead she had taken an alternative route, having me visit a chiropractor for 3 times a week treatments. The treatments relieved the pain for a short period of time, nevertheless, the spine continued to worsen as time past, and I was told by an orthopaedic surgeon, if I didn't go and have surgery done soon, I wouldn't be able to walk by age 21.
I was not yet saved, by standards of being born again. I got saved in my early twenties. To make a long story shorter, as I have shared this with others before. I went to have major back surgery, a spinal fusion, which would last almost 9 hours. The only thing is because of the length of time some how the anaesthesias didn't give me enough antistatic, or failed to keep an eye on when it should have been given again. I woke up during the half way point of surgery in excruciating pain! My back was wide open and ribs seemed spread apart and standing in a more upright position. My heart had suddenly stopped beating!
The next thing I knew there was this sudden jolt, and I left through the top of my head, up to the ceiling of the operating room, and I saw this young body of a girl lying on the operating table. Her head was to the side and she was lying on her front part of her body while the back was inner parts of her back, spine ribs, were totally exposed. Then I realized as I zoomed in instantly from above to look, on the face of the body, it was me. I thought to myself, how could that be me, I'm fine, and then I realized, I was out of the body, and the real me, was alive and not feeling anymore pain. I never felt better in my entire life at that time. I tried to get the two surgeons, the antistatic doctor and the nurse in the operating room attention. I kept telling them to leave my body alone, as I was doing Ok, feeling great, however, they ignored me, as if they didn't hear me. Instead, they continued in a frenzy panic to save my body, lying lifeless on the table. Here, I was dead and I was watching the three doctors and one nurse in as state of panic. I was hovering at the ceiling above them. I saw Dr. Wright, the specialist, calling my name, come on now can you hear me, come back, work with me; as he turned saying to the other doctor & the anaesthesias doctor, I never lost a patient this young before. I saw the specialist trying to do a heart massage to get my vital signs back again, since there wasn't any other choice at that time, as I was laying on my front.
Then immediately I remembered my worried mother, and my two younger brothers in the waiting room. No sooner I thought of them I was there with them in the waiting room. I saw my Mother, crying, and wiping away her tears with a tissue, and saying, to my brothers, it's been hours, why haven't we heard anything as yet. I couldn't handle it if your Sister dies; it's too much for me. I heard her praying, along with my brothers. I remember trying to tell my Mother that I was alright, and felt great, but she or my brothers couldn't hear or see me either.
Then I felt myself back in the operating room and hovering horizontally just above my body but instead of going back into the body, I found myself being pulled, travelling at tremendous speed through this dark tunnel, which I now associate with the valley of death. I could hear people's voices but I couldn't see them as I was travelling at such great speed and not stopping. Then that tunnel looked like it got wider as I found myself moving slower, in outer space. It was dark, with stars, moon, planets, comets, all kinds of objects in space that I had ever seen before, beautiful explosions of colors passing by me. Passing by I saw such extraordinary, shapes, and colors. It's so awesome what is out there in the second heaven which many scholars call outer space; with the earth's blue sky being the first heaven. These are the heavenlies, however, God resides in the 3rd heaven past outer space, is the only way to generally describe of it's location. It's past the dark outer space, into the brilliant light filled presence of God, where there is no darkness. There is no need of the Sun in Heaven ,or any other light source. For God the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit, Light up Heaven, with such spectacular beauty, filled with overflowing love
.
Before I knew it I arrived, at my destination, it was bright and beautiful, filled with golden light, there was no darkness at all. When I reached the end of the tunnel I found my body standing upright, and I saw a figure shape of a man, beaming from head to toe with this beautiful bright white light suddenly standing in front of me, as I was coming closer the light.. . Immediately, I knew who this person was, the Light was Jesus. I couldn't move, and was speechless as I stood there looking at Him, such love filled my entire being as I stood in His Presence. I could feel the Light embraced me, and I felt such, peace, joy, comfort, being in His presence, and it was more real than life on Earth. Life on Earth seemed more like a dream when I think of comparing Jesus & Heaven.
Everything the Lord spoke to me was from his mind to my mind. I could hear the Lord speak from His thoughts, and in turn He heard my thoughts out loud too. We didn't have to say a word, with our lips or mouth. We spoke to each other back and forth just by thinking we could hear one another, and carry on a conversation.
Jesus told me all that I would still have to go through many difficult things here on Earth! He also told me what He wanted me to do for Him. He said I wouldn't remember everything, when I got back to Earth, but he would bring back to mind the work I still needed to do for Him through the years as they past.. Jesus knew at the time I wasn't saved/born again, and He also saw the future when I would accept Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior.
I did get a glimpse of Heaven's beauty, just a glimpse, from outside looking in.. Then I remembered when he embraced me, and held me, I didn't want the Lord to let me go; Jesus' love is indescribable beyond anything anyone can experience on this earth. You can't contain it; it's awesome! Jesus told me that I would be back home one day, but I had to return right now. It saddened me, but He reminded me, my Mother still needed me, along with my brothers and so did my Step Father.
Instantaneously, I was transported, back to my body in the operating room. In the recovery room, the doctor told me, that I gave them a scare, but that the surgery turned out alright. I asked him, what happened, and he said to me, don't worry about that now, it's best to think of recovering, and getting better this was more important. By the look on his face, I knew what had happened, but I didn't dare tell him, fearing future attacks of the negative outlook that was present during the 1960's, for those who had a Near Death Experience.
The worst part of it all, was leaving Jesus, and the second was returning to my body with this big jolt to my chest, as my soul, my spirit returned with such great force upon impact.
I never told anyone about my near death experience, for in those early days in the 60's people wouldn't believe you and considered you mentally ill, if you told some one, this happened to you. Some would take it so far as to be institutionalized by members of their family, for speaking out and others would be looked down upon unfavourably by many. Very few believed,
as it was a forbidden subject to speak about. I was more afraid of being labelled as such, then death, because dying, doesn't frighten me anymore.
It wasn't until I reached the age of 40, that I actually told my family, my husband and children, and some others. Books, teaching, and many more people experienced either Heaven or Hell. Through out the decades it became much more openly discussed and many others had experiences of their own. One would no longer be looked upon as mentally ill, because of having it happen to them. I'm glad, because it was very difficult to hold it all inside and not being able to share with others, especially those closest to me.
The Lord knew I still had to be saved, and I received His Holy Spirit Baptism too, which I didn't know at the time. . I know that my Jesus lives, and so will I eternally be with our Lord and Savior!
Blessings!

FOR THOSE THAT DO,
THERE IS NO FORGIVENESS
FOR THEY WILL GO TO HELL.
Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.Do Not Be Surprised as Though Some Strange Thing Happening to You
Since, Jesus the Son of God suffered, Job was a man of God and suffered, then why should we be surprised if we are godly people and we are going through trials or suffering too. If we are reviled for the name of Christ, we are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on us.
If, we are tested, and refined like silver or gold through fire, we are
to rejoice as we share in the suffering of Christ; for when we behold Him, at His coming, we will rejoice with exultation at His presence; knowing that He suffered for our sins, and through Jesus, we are reconciled unto God the Father.
Therefore, those also who suffer according to the will of God shall entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right.
For our present trials and suffering, will be forgotten when we behold, what the Lord has prepared in Heaven for those whom love Him.

1 Peter 4
Keep Fervent in Your Love
1 Therefore, since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same purpose, because he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, 2 so as to live the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for the lusts of men, but for the will of God. 3 For the time already past is sufficient for you to have carried out the desire of the Gentiles, having pursued a course of sensuality, lusts, drunkenness, carousing, drinking parties and abominable idolatries. 4 In all this, they are surprised that you do not run with them into the same excesses of dissipation, and they malign you; 5 but they will give account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. 6 For the gospel has for this purpose been preached even to those who are dead, that though they are judged in the flesh as men, they may live in the spirit according to the will of God. 7 The end of all things is near ; therefore, be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer. 8 Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins. 9 Be hospitable to one another without complaint. 10 As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 11 Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God ; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies ; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Share the Sufferings of Christ
12 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; 13 but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that also at the revelation of His glory you may rejoice with exultation. 14 If you are reviled for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. 15 Make sure that none of you suffers as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or a troublesome meddler ; 16 but if anyone suffers as a Christian, he is not to be ashamed, but is to glorify God in this name. 17 For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God ; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God ? 18 AND IF IT IS WITH DIFFICULTY THAT THE RIGHTEOUS IS SAVED, WHAT WILL BECOME OF THE GODLESS MAN AND THE SINNER ? 19 Therefore, those also who suffer according to the will of God shall entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right.

I received the following in my email box from a Christian Brother & Friend.
October 17, 1880
by
C. H. SPURGEON
(1834-1892)
"Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him: on the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold him: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him: but he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold." --Job 23:8-10.
Job, as we noticed in our reading, was at that time in very deep distress. I commend this fact to the notice of any here who are very sorely tried. You may be the people of God, and yet be in a terrible plight, for Job was a true servant of the Most High, yet he sat down among the ashes, and scraped himself with a potsherd because he was covered with sore boils, and, at the same time, he was reduced to absolute poverty. The path of sorrow has been trodden by thousands of holy feet; you are not the first one who could sit down, and say, "I am the man that hath seen affliction." You were not the first tried one, you are not the only one, and you will not be the last one. "Many are the afflictions of the righteous;" so let this be some comfort to you, -- that you are one of the Lord's suffering children, one of those who have to pass through rough roads and fiery places in the course of their pilgrimage to heaven.
Job had to experience one trial which must have been very keen indeed, for it was brought about by his three choice friends, who were evidently men of mind and mark, for their speeches prove that they were by no means second-class men. Job would not have selected for his bosom friends any but those who were of high character, estimable in disposition, and able to converse with him upon high and lofty themes. Such, no doubt, those three men were; and I expect that, when Job saw them coming towards him, he looked for a store of comfort from them, imagining that they would at least sympathize with him, and pour out such consolations as their own experience could suggest, in order that he might be somewhat relieved. But he was utterly disappointed; these friends of his reasoned that there must be some extraordinary cause for such unusual distress as that into which Job had fallen. They had never seen wrong in him; but, then, he might be a very cunning man, and so have concealed it from them. As far as they had known him, he seemed to be a generous, liberal soul; but, perhaps, after all, he was one of those who squeeze the uttermost farthing out of the poor. They could not read his heart, so they put the worst construction upon his sorrows, and said, "Depend upon it, he is a hypocrite; we will apply caustic to him, and so we will test him, and see whether he really is what he professes to be. We will rub salt into his wounds by bringing various charges against him;" and they did so in a most horrible fashion. That is a cruel thing for anybody to do, and one that cuts to the quick. Possibly, some people, who used to court your company, and would not let you go down the street without bowing to you, now that your circumstances are changed, do not recognize you; or if they cannot help seeing you, they appear to have some distant recollection that, years ago, you were a casual acquaintance; or, peradventure, if they do speak in a kind, friendly way, though their words are smoother than butter, war is in their heart; though their words are softer than oil, yet are they drawn swords. You must be a bad man because you have come down in the world; it cannot be that you are the respectable person they thought you were, or you would not have lost your estate; for, in the estimation of some folk, to be respectable means to have a certain amount of cash. The definition was once given, in a court of law, that if a man kept a gig, it was proved by that fact that he was respectable. That is the way of the world; respect and respectability depend upon so much money; but the moment that is gone, the scene changes. The man is the same; ay, he may be a better and a nobler man without the money than with it; but it is only noble men who think so. It is only right-minded persons who judge not by the coat or the purse, but who say, with Burns, --
"A man's a man for a' that,"
whatever may be his condition. Character is the thing to which we ought to look; -- the man himself, and not merely his surroundings. But Job had to bear just that ignoble sort of scorn that some men seem to delight to pour upon the sorrows of others.
I want, first, to call your attention to Job's desire in the time of his trouble. It was his earnest desire to get to his God. Secondly, we will notice Job's distress because he could not find him: "Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him." And, thirdly, we will consider Job's consolation: "He knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold."
I. First, then, notice JOB' S DESIRE IN THE TIME OF HIS TROUBLE.
He wanted his God; he did not long to see Bildad, or Eliphaz, or Zophar, or any earthly friend; but his cry was "Oh, that I knew where I might find HIM! that I might come even to his seat!" This is one of the marks of a true child of God, -- that, even when God smites him, he still longs for his presence. If you get to the very back of all Job's calamities, you will see that God sent them; or, at least, permitted Satan to afflict him. "Yet," says Job, "I will not turn in anger against God because of this. 'Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him. ' Let him do what he will with me, I will still seek to get near to him, and this shall be my heart's desire, 'Oh that I knew where I might find him! ' " An ungodly man, if he has made any pretense of fellowship with God in his days of prosperity, forsakes him as soon as adversity comes; but the true child of God clings to his Father however roughly he may deal with him. We are not held captive to God by a chain of sweets, nor are we bought with cupboard love, nor bribed in any other way to love him; but now, because he first loved us, our heart hath loved him, and rested in him; and if cross providences and strange dealings come from the hand of the Most High, our cry shall not be, "Oh that we could get away from him!" but, "Oh that we knew where we might find him, that we might come even to his seat!" This is the mark of our regeneration and adoption, -- that, whatever happens, we still cling to our God.
For, beloved friends, when a man is in trouble, if he can but get to God, in the first place, he is quite sure of justice. Men may condemn us falsely, but God never will. Our character may be cruelly slandered; and, doubtless, there have been good men who have lived for years under false accusations; -- but God knoweth the way that we take. He will be the Advocate of his servants when their case is laid before the heavenly Court of King's Bench. We need not be afraid that the verdict will not be just: "Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?"
We know also that, if we can get to God, we shall have audience. Sometimes, men will not hear us when we are pleading for justice. "I do not want to hear a word you have to say," says the man who is so prejudiced that he will not listen to our plea. But there is an ear that no prejudice ever sealed; there is a heart that is ever sympathetic towards the griefs of a believer. You are sure to be heard, beloved, if you pour out your heart before the God that heareth prayer. He will never be weary of your cries; they may be poor, broken utterances, but he takes the meaning of the sighs of his saints, he understands the language of their groans. Go, then, to God because you are sure of audience.
What is more, in getting near to God, a man is sure to have strength. You notice how Job puts it: "' Will he plead against me with his great power? No; but he would put strength in me." When once we get to realize that God is with us, how strong we are! Then we can bear the burden of want or of pain, or even the sharp adder's tongue of slander. The man who has God with him is a very Samson; he may fling himself upon a troop of Philistines, and smite them hip and thigh; he may lay hold of the pillars of their temple, rock them to and fro, and bring down the whole building upon them. I say not that we shall work miracles, but I do say that, as our days, so shall our strength be.
"I can do all things, or can bear
All sufferings, if my Lord be there."
And, once more, he who gets to his God is sure of joy. There was never a soul, that was right with God, and that was unhappy in the presence of God. Up yonder in glory, how gladly they smile! How I would like to photograph their beaming faces! What a group that would be, -- of angel faces bathed in everlasting light, and the faces of those redeemed from among men, all radiant with celestial joy. What gives them that gladness? It is because God is there that they are so happy.
"Not all the harps above
Can make a heavenly place,
If God his residence remove,
Or but conceal his face."
Just as the sun makes the landscape bright and fair, so does the light of God's countenance make all his people glad. It would not matter to a man whether he were in a dungeon or a palace if he had the constant presence of God; I am not speaking at random when I make that assertion. Read the record of the martyr days of the Church, and you will understand that the presence of God caused his persecuted people to be the happiest in the whole world. No minstrels in royal halls ever sang so sweetly as did the prisoners of the Lord who were confined in deep, dark, underground dungeons, where they could scarcely breathe. Nay, that is not all; for some have been happy even on the rack. Think of brave Lady Anne Askew sitting on the cold stones after the cursed inquisitors had torn her poor feeble frame almost limb from limb; and when they tempted her to turn from the faith, she answered, --
"I am not she that lyst
My anker to let fall
For every dryslynge mist;
My shippe's substancyal."
Some who were tortured, not accepting deliverance, declared, as in the case of Lawrence, that the gridiron was a bed of roses, and that they never were so joyous as when their body was being consumed in the fire, -- every finger being like a lighted candle, -- for they were able even then to cry, "None but Christ! None but Christ!" It is amazing how the presence of God seems to be an anodyne that kills all pain; -- an uplifting, like an angel's wing, that bears upward one who, without it, would be utterly crushed. The martyr is torn in pieces, and full of agonies, and yet all his sufferings are transformed, till they become sweet harmonies of intense delight because God is with him. Oh! give me God, give me God, and I care not what you withhold from me. "Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee."
II. The brightness of the first part of my subject will help to make the second portion all the darker. We are now to consider JOB' S DISTRESS, -- the agony of a true child of God who cannot find his Father.
Your experiences are not all alike, brethren, and I do not want you to try to make them all alike. Some of you have very happy experiences, and very little spiritual trial. I am glad it is so; I only hope you will not be superficial, or conceited, or censorious of others. But there are some who know the darker paths in the heavenly pilgrimage, and it is to those that I specially speak just now. Dear friends, I pray you to remember that a man may be a true servant of God, and even an eminent and distinguished servant of God like Job, and yet he may sometimes lose the light of God's countenance, and have to cry out, "Oh that I knew where I might find him!" There are some special, superfine, hot-pressed Christians about, nowadays, who do not believe this. They say, "You ought to be joyous; you ought never to be depressed; you ought to be perfect;" all which is quite true, but it is a great deal easier to say so than to show how it is to be realized; and these brethren, who talk as if it were a very simple matter, like counting your fingers, may someday find that it is more difficult than they think, as some of us have sometimes done.
Job could not find his God; this is apparently strange. He was a specially good man, one who did what he could for all around him, -- a very light in the city where he dwelt, -- a man famous in all the country, yet in great trouble; -- one might have thought that God would certainly comfort him. He has lost everything; surely, now the Lord will return to him, and be gracious unto him, and above all other times he will be cheered now with the presence of God. Yet it was not so. He was a man who valued the company of God, and who cried, "Oh that I knew where I might find him!" Yet he could not find him. It is passing strange; or, at least, it appears to be so.
Yet notice, next, that it is essentially needful to some trials that God should withdraw the light of his countenance. Our Lord Jesus Christ, with all the woes that he endured, could not have been made perfect through sufferings unless he had learnt to cry, "My God, my God, why h ast thou forsaken me?" When God means to smite any child of his with the rod, he cannot do it with a smile. Suppose a father is chastening his son, and all the while is comforting him, where is the chastening? No; the very essence of the medicinal sorrow that is to do good to our souls will lie in our having to bewail the absence of the smile of God.
This is essential to our trial, but it is greatly perplexing. I do not know of anything that so troubles a Christian man as when he does not know where his God is. "God is everywhere," says one. I know he is, but yet there is a special presence which he manifests to his people, and sometimes it seems to them as if he were nowhere at all. So Job exclaimed, "Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him." Tried children of God, you have had this experience; and it is very perplexing because, when you cannot find your God, you cannot make out why you are being troubled. An affliction that will talk is always a light one; but I dread most of all a dumb affliction, that cannot tell me why it has come. When I look around it, and ask, "Why is this?" and I cannot get an answer, that is what plagues me much. And when you cannot find God, you do not yourself know what to do; for, in losing him, you have lost your Guide. You are in a maze, and know not how to get out of it. You are like a man in a net; the more you pull, this way or that, the more you tighten the bonds that hold you prisoner. Where you hoped to have relieved yourself, you only brought yourself into further difficulties in another direction; and this bewilderment is one of the worst of sorrows.
The loss of God's presence is also inexpressibly painful to a believer. If you can live without God, I am afraid you will die without God; but if you cannot live without God, that proves that you are his, and you will bear me out in the assertion that this is the heaviest of mortal griefs, -- to feel that God has forsaken you, and does not hear your prayer; -- nay, does not seem even to help you to pray, so that you can only groan, "Oh that I knew where I might find him! . . . Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him."
Then, dear friends, in closing what I have to say about this dark side of the subject, let me remind you that it is marvelously arousing, because the true child of God, when he finds that his Father has forsaken him for awhile, gets to be terribly unhappy. Then he begins to cry and to seek after God. Look at Job; he hunts for God everywhere, -- forward, backward, on the left hand, on the right hand. He leaves no quarter unvisited; no part of the earth is left without being searched over that he might find his God. Nothing brings a real Christian to his bearings, and awakes all his faculties, like the consciousness of his Lord's absence. Then he cries, "My God, where art thou? I have lost the sense of thy presence; I halve missed the light of thy countenance." A man, in such a case as this, goes to the prayer meeting, in the hope that other people's prayers may help to make his sad heart happy again. He reads his Bible, too, as he has not read it for months. You will also find him listening to the gospel with the utmost eagerness, and nothing but the gospel will satisfy him now. At one time, he could listen to that pleasant kind of talk that lulls the hearers to slumber, but now he wants a heart-searching ministry, and a message that will go right into him, and deal faithfully with him; and he is not content unless he gets it. Besides this, he is anxious to talk with Christian friends of riper experience than his own; and he deals seriously and earnestly with these eternal matters which, before, he perhaps trifled with as mere technicalities. You see a man, who once lived in the light of God's countenance, and you will find him wretched indeed when the light is gone. He must have his God.
III. Now, lastly, I want to speak, for a little while, concerning THE TRIED BELIEVERS CONSOLATION. It is a very sweet consolation: "He knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold."
God knows and understands all about his child. I do not know his way, but he knows mine. I am his child, and my Father is leading me, though I cannot see him, for all around me it is so misty and dark. I can scarcely feel his hand that grasps my little palm, so I cry to him, "Where art thou, my Father? I cannot see my way; the next step before me threatens to plunge me into imminent peril. I know nothing, my Father, but thou knowest." That is just where knowledge is of most use; it does not so much matter what you do not know so long as God knows it, for he is your Guide. If the guide knows the way, the traveler under his care may be content to know but little. "He knoweth the way that I take." There is nothing about you, my brother, which God does not perfectly understand. You are a riddle to yourself, but you are no riddle to him. There are mysteries in your heart that you cannot explain, but he has the clue of every maze, the key of every secret drawer, and he knows how to get at the hidden springs of your spirit. He knows the trouble that you could not tell to your dearest friend, the grief you dare not whisper in any human ear.
I find that the Hebrew has this meaning, "He knoweth the way that is in me." God knows whether I am his child or not; whether I am sincere or not. While others are judging me harshly, he judges me truly; he knows what I really am. This is a sweet consolation; take it to yourself, tried believer.
Next, God approves of his child. The word "know" often has the meaning of approval, and it has that sense here. Job says "God approves of the way that I take." When you are in trouble, it is a grand thing to be able to say, I know that I have done that which is right in the sight of God, although it has brought me into great trial. 'My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined. ' "If you ha ve a secret and sure sense of God's approval in the time of your sorrow, it will be a source of very great strengthening to your spirit.
But Job meant more than this. He meant that God was considering him, — and helping him even then. The fact that he knows of our needs guarantees that he will supply them. You remember how our Lord Jesus Christ puts this truth: "Take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things." Does he know all about our need? It is all right then; the Head of the house knows the need of all the members of his family, and that is enough, for he never yet failed to supply all the wants of those who depend upon him. When I need guidance, he will himself be my Guide. He will supply me when I lack supplies, he will defend me when I need defense, he will give me all things that I really require. There is an old proverb that says, "Where God is, not hing is lacking;" and it is blessedly true. Only remember that there is an ancient precept with a gracious promise attached to it, "Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart." Believe it, and obey it, and you shall find it true in your case
.
Furthermore, when Job says, "When he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold," he comforts himself with the belief that God times and manages all things, -- that his present distresses are a trial, by which God is testing him. A man who is like solid gold is not afraid to be tested. No tradesman is afraid to put into the scales that which is full weight; for, if it is weighed, it will be proved to be what he says it is. When the inspector of weights and measures comes round, the gentleman who does not like to see him is the man of short weights and incorrect scales. He who knows he is upright and sincere dares say even to the Lord, himself, "Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my ways: and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." We do not profess to be perfect, but we dare claim to be sincere, and he who is sincere is not afraid of being tested and tried. Real gold is not afraid of the fire; why should it be? What has it to lose? So Job seems to say, "I know that God hath put integrity within my spirit, and now that he is testing me, he will not carry the test further than, by his grace, I shall be able to bear."
Lastly, Job's comfort was that God secures the happy result of trial. He believed that, when God had tried him, he would bring him forth as gold. Now, how does gold come out of the crucible? How does a true Christian man come out of the darkness and obscurity of missing his God for awhile? How does he come out like gold? In the Hebrew, the word has an allusion to the bright color of the gold; so, when a Christian is tried, is there not a bright color upon him? Even though he may have lost, for awhile, the bright shining of God's countenance, when that brightness returns, there is a luster about him which you cannot help seeing. He will speak of his God in a more impressive way than he ever spoke before. Examine the books that are most comforting to believers, and that satisfy their souls, and you will find that the men who wrote them were those who had been severely tried; and when they came out of the fire, there was a brilliance upon them which would not otherwise have been there. If you walk in darkness, and see no light, believe that, when God hath tried you, you shall come forth with the brightness of newly-minted gold.
But brightness is of little value without preciousness, and the children of God grow more precious through their trials; and, being precious, they become objects of desire. Men desire gold above almost everything else, yet the Lord has said, "I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir." There are some godly men whose company we court, and some Christian women whose society, when they talk of spiritual things, is worth a Jew's eye to one that is in distress. Happy are they whom God has passed through the fire, who become precious and desirable when they come out of it.
And they become honorable, too. "When he hath tried me," said Job, "even though my friends despise me now, when I come forth, they shall have different thoughts concerning me." They thought a great deal more of Job when God was angry with them, and would not restore them to his favor until the patriarch had prayed for them, than they thought of him when they went to find fault with him; and the day shall come to thee, true child of God, when those who now persecute thee, and look down upon thee, shall look up to thee. Joseph may be cast into the pit by his brethren, and sold into Egypt, but he shall yet sit on the throne, and all his father's sons shall bow before him.
Once more, you shall come out of the fire uninjured. It looks very hard to believe that a child of God should be tried by the loss of his Father's presence, and yet should come forth uninjured by the trial. Yet no gold is ever injured in the fire. Stoke the furnace as much as you may, let the blast be as strong as you will, thrust the ingot into the very center of the white heat, let it lie in the very heart of the flame; pile on more fuel, let another blast torment the coals till they become most vehement with heat, yet the gold is losing nothing, it may even be gaining. If it had any alloy mingled with it, the alloy is separated from it by the fire, and to gain in purity is the greatest of gains

My Comment
I think something is about to happen any time now. The same night a.m I had a vision of the Rapture too.
The reason I say this, is last night, I too was asleep and had a vision,
that I saw Jesus coming in the sky, with such intense glory, along with his Angels. Jesus came closer and closer, and then I knew the Rapture was going to take place, and then I woke up.Maranatha!

The Pretribulation Rapture - Marriage Supper, Jacob's Trouble, more...
The Pretribulation Rapture: The Marriage Supper of the Lamb
In Luke 12:36, the Word states that when Christ returns, He will be returning from a wedding. In Revelation 19:7-8, we read about the marriage itself. The marriage supper takes place before the marriage. According to Jewish custom, the marriage contract, which often includes a dowry, is drawn up first. The contract parallels the act of faith we use when we trust Jesus to be our Savior. The dowry is His life, which was used to purchase us. When it's time for the wedding, the groom goes to the bride's house unannounced. She comes out to meet him, and then he takes her to his father's house. This precisely correlates with the events according to the pre-trib scenario. Jesus, the Groom, comes down from heaven and calls up the Church, His Bride. After meeting in the air, He and His Bride return to His Father's house, heaven. The marriage supper itself will take place there, while down here on earth the final events of the tribulation will be playing out. After the marriage supper of Jewish tradition, the bride and groom are presented to the world as man and wife. This corresponds to the time when Jesus returns to earth accompanied by an army "clothed in fine linen, white and clean" (Rev 19:14).
The Pretribulation Rapture: What They Didn't Teach You in History Class
Many groups try to discredit the pre-trib rapture by saying most of the end-time events in the Bible have already taken place. A group of people called preterists claims that the Book of Revelation was mostly fulfilled by 70 AD. If the events described in the Book of Revelation took place in the past, I'm at a loss to explain some of the current situations I see around us: the rebirth of Israel, the reunification of Europe, the number of global wars that have occurred, and the development of nuclear weapons. During history class, I must have slept through the part where the teacher talked about the time when a third of the trees were burned up, 100-pound hailstones fell from the sky, and the sea turned into blood (Rev 8:7-8, 16:21). I think several people would have to question their opposition to the pre-trib rapture doctrine if they knew that the evidence provided to them was based on the understanding that most tribulation prophecies have already occurred.
The Pretribulation Rapture: The Time of Jacob's Trouble
In several passages, the Bible refers to the tribulation as a time of trouble for the Jews. The phrase "Jacob's trouble" pertains to the descendants of Jacob. Jeremiah 30:7 says that this time of trouble will come just before the Lord returns to save His people. The final week of Daniel's 70th week is yet to take place. An angel told Daniel that, "70 weeks are determined unto thy people" (Dan 9:24). Scripture never mentions that the tribulation is meant to be a time of testing for Christians. However, some post-tribbers try to claim that they are the ones being tested during the tribulation. To make this so, they need to spiritualize the 144,000 Jewish believers in Revelation 7:2-8 who receive God's protective seal. Placing the Church dispensation into the same time frame as the seven-year Jewish dispensation, as the post-tribbers do, raises one good question: Can two dispensations transpire at the same time? In the past, God has only dealt with one at a time. Having both present during the tribulation would have to be an exception.
The Pretribulation Rapture: God Hath Not Appointed Us to Wrath
In 1 Thessalonians 5:9, Paul assures us that God has not appointed His people to wrath. This wrath is plainly God's anger that will be poured out during the tribulation. Pre-trib believers interpret this as meaning that Christians will be removed from the earth. Post-trib believers tell a different story. They describe this as meaning that God will protect Christians during the tribulation and pour this wrath out on the unbelievers only. This idea runs against the statement made in Revelation 13:7, in which the Antichrist is given power to make war with the saints and to overcome them. A post-trib view would make God's promise of protection from wrath into a lie. In years past, it was possible to think of being protected from the guns and swords of that day. Today, when any major war would involve nuclear and chemical weapons, it's impossible to expect that same kind of protection. When Nagasaki, Japan was bombed during World War II, the bomb exploded over a Catholic church. Everyone who was in the center of the explosion died--both Christians and non-Christians. The only way to validly interpret God's promise of protection from wrath is by viewing 1 Thessalonians 5:9 as the bodily removal of the Church from this world.
The Pretribulation Rapture: Noah and Lot as Examples
The tribulation period is compared to the times of Noah and Lot by Jesus in Luke 17:28. Most people argue over whether the time frame Jesus was talking about in that passage was pre-trib or post-trib. In doing so, they miss an important point. The two circumstances that the Noah and Lot situations have in common are the removal of the righteous and the judgment of the unbelievers. From these two accounts, we see that God prefers to remove His own when danger is involved.

The Pretribulation Rapture: The Unknown Hour
When we search the Scriptures and read the passages describing the Lord Jesus' return, we find verses that tell us we won't know the day and hour of that event. Matthew 25:13 says Jesus will return at an unknown time, while Revelation 12:6 indicates that the Jews will have to wait on the Lord 1,260 days, starting when the Antichrist stands in the Temple of God and declares himself to be God (2 Thes 2:4). This event will take place at the mid-point of the seven-year tribulation (Dan 9:27). Note that some people only see a three-and-a-half-year tribulation.
In a way, they are correct because the first half of the tribulation will be relatively peaceful compared to the second half. Nonetheless, peaceful or not, there still remains a seven-year period called the tribulation. When the Jews flee into the wilderness, they know that all they have to do is wait out those 1,260 days (Mat 24:16). There is no way to apply the phrase "neither the day nor the hour" to this situation. The only way for these two viewpoints to be true is to separate the two distinct events transpiring here: 1) the rapture of the Church, which comes before the tribulation; and 2) the return of Jesus to the earth, which takes place roughly seven years later.

Understanding the Time of the Pretribulation Rapture Through End Times Bible Prophecy
"And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh"
The Pretribulation Rapture. NTEB has started a series making the historical and biblical case for the existience of the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church. We believe it is stated time and time again in the bible, in no uncertain terms, and we are proud to take a stand to defend this exciting End Times Bible prophecy. Does the bible teach a Pretribulation Rapture? Yes, we believe it does, and present evidence for proof of a Pretribulation Rapture.
It Is Written
"Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth." Revelation 3:10
Evidence For The Pretribulation Rapture
Part 1: An Overview of the Case For the Pretribulation Rapture - An overview of the case for the Pretribulation Rapture
and historical anecdotes that people have put forth in an attempt to explain away and discredit this bible doctine.
Part 2: The Prophecy of Daniel's 70 Weeks Explained - The prophecy of the 70 weeks of Daniel is one of the main keys
needed to unlock the 'mystery' of the timing of the Rapture.
Part 3: The Difference Between The Rapture and the Revelation. It has been well-said that "things that are different are
not the same". In this next series we look at two very separate and distinct doctrines, the Rapture of the Church, and the
Revelation of Jesus Christ.
Part 4: The 7-Year Tribulation period. Now we look at what the Old Testament calls the time of Jacob's trouble, the
7-Year Tribulation period.
Part 5: The Signs Of The End Times. The last "sign" that we would mention is the "sign" of the "Noah Days." As it was in the days of Noah, they did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded, so shall it be in the days of the Son of Man.
Part 6: The Blessed Hope! The bible clearly teaches that if we believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will keep His promise to come back and get us, then we should be looking for Him on a daily basis. Looking means to wait in fervent anticipation, like one who is preparing to go on a long trip..packed and ready to leave at any moment.
Part 7: The Two Witnesses of Revelation In chapter 11:1-3 we are given a description of "Two Witnesses" who are to prophesy during the greater part of the last half of the Week. Who they will be is very clear. One has "power to shut heaven that it rain not in the days of their prophecy." This can be no other than Elijah who was translated that he might come again before the "Great and Terrible Day of the Lord" (Mal. 4:5, Mal. 4:6), and who will shut up the heavens for 42 months, or 3 1/2 years, which is exactly the length of time he did it in the days of Ahab.
The Coming Third Jewish Temple: Daniel was given a vision of the rebuilt, third Jewish Temple that would exist during the time of the Tribulation. That time is almost here. Read the exciting new developments going on now in Israel that herald the return of the Temple.
The Fig Tree Prophecy: The Fig Tree Prophecy is the checkered-flag that officially started the End Times, and it is from the mouth of Jesus Himself. The timing of the Rapture could not have been possible before this very critical event which happened on May 14, 1948.

The Pretribulation Rapture
"The Bible describes two separate and distinct future events, both of which are often described as the Second Coming. The first event is what Bible scholars call the Rapture. In 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, the apostle Paul writes that "the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ
will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord." In this passage, Paul is describing an event in which Jesus Christ will not physically, literally touch down on the earth but will first come "in the clouds" and snatch away His true followers from the earth in an instant of time. Those who have not chosen to follow Christ, those who have not been "born again," will remain behind on the earth and will have to go through a terrible time of wars, famines, natural disasters, and divine judgments known as the The second event occurs at the end of the Tribulation. This is when the Bible teaches that Jesus will physically, literally return to earth, destroy His enemies, and set up His own righteous government based in Jerusalem. He will reign on earth for one thousand years. In Revelation 19:11--20:6, the apostle John writes, "I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. . . . He will rule [the nations]. . . . And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and he threw him into the abyss. . . . And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God . . . and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. . . . Blessed and holy is the one who has
a part in the first resurrection. . . . They will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years."
Taken from "ANSWERING QUESTIONS ABOUT THE RAPTURE AND LAST DAYS" by Joel Rosenberg
While there is more than one school of interpretation regarding the Rapture, NTEB holds to the position that it will be a Pretribulation Rapture. Having said that, we are here to educate, not indoctrinate..."Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind." Romans 14:5b

Rapture Described in the Bible...Dead in Christ, Rise first,
Then Born Again Caught up together to Meet the Lord in the Air .
Corinthians 15:51-52
51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed — 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
The above is the description of the Rapture of the dead in Christ first & then we whom are alive and in Christ will be changed in the twinkle of an eye and caught up together to meet Jesus in the air.
1 Thessalonias 13:18
13But we would not have you ignorant, brethren, concerning them that fall asleep; that ye sorrow not, even as the rest, who have no hope. 14For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also that are fallen asleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we that are alive, that are left unto the coming of the Lord, shall in no wise precede them that are fallen asleep. 16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven, with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first; 17then we that are alive, that are left, shall together with them be caught up in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

word is truth, I confess with my mouth that I am
Born Again and Cleansed by the Blood of Jesus! In
Jesus Name, Amen.
Now repent of your ways! Show God that you are sincere and that with His help you will succeed.
Confess with your mouth, that you are saved. Read the Bible and pray daily. The Bible is your book of instructions on how you should live. Pray for God's Holy Spirit to guide and teach you all things of God.
I hope to see a multitude in Heaven, and I hope I will see you too!
In Jesus Love,
Valerie
